STREET PERFORMANCE brake pads have been designed for drivers seeking improved braking characteristics over traditional OE brake pads. STREET PERFORMANCE is the next step up for all vehicles, developed to provide an effective friction response to pedal application and offer low wear and dust minimisation.

DBA recommends STREET PERFORMANCE brake pads for daily driver and performance vehicles, 4WDs and SUVs. They are also compatible with Light Commercial Vehicles.

DBA recommends use with STREET SERIES T2 or 4000 SERIES T3 slotted rotors for optimum braking power.

STREET PERFORMANCE part numbers are denoted by the suffix SP.

• Two-Piece Design: Hat and rings sold as complete assemblies and as individual components, for more economical replacement options.
• Surface Design: Symmetrical slots and/or chamfered drill holes facilitate the exit of friction dust and gasses, for a quieter and more responsive pedal feel.
• Anti Rust: Painted non-friction areas to prevent rust and enhance appearance, or full En-shield coating to protect the rotor and alleviate the need for pre-installation cleaning.
• Bi-Directional Use: Symmetrical slotting and/or drilling for universal left/right use.
• Thermal Stability Profiling: Heat treatment cycles realign the microstructure of the iron, resulting in increased rotor stability and durability.
• Thermal Efficiency: Centre-split core castings for increased heat transfer and thermal efficiency.
• Thermographic Heat Paint: Paint markings change colour at specific temperature thresholds to assist with the monitoring of braking temperatures and rotor fatigue.

• High Carbon Alloyed Iron: Formulation allows for optimal interaction with DBA's thermal stability profiling (TSP). Increases the capacity of the rotor to handle constant and extreme heat over prolonged periods.
• Kangaroo Paw: Unique Kangaroo Paw vane design for up to 20% better heat dissipation, increasing braking effectiveness and prolonging brake life.
