The pMaxKote bearings, also known as XPC bearings, are tri-metal performance bearings with a fourth layer of polymer. The nano-composite coating improves wear resistance and protects bearings during periods of marginal lubrication. These bearings contain ceramic nano-composite particles and solid lubricant. What makes the pMaxKote polymer version stand out is the fact that all the processes are done in-house at King Engine Bearings.
