Notes

  • Aux Input mode will become occupied with the new Apple Carplay / Android Auto device.
  • Faint pop noise may be heard during vehicle turn on while in AUX mode.
  • Volume level indicator change will not show in Apple Carplay / Android Auto mode.
  • May require to wait until you see the Lexus splash screen to plug in your phone or sound may not be audible from Carplay. In addition, a quick replug can remedy the no sound to prioritize sound output to Carplay from your phone.
  • This does not support fast charging.
  • This kit is only compatible with vehicles listed under "Compatibility". Vehicles not listed including but not limited to Lexus LX and GX models are not compatible.

Once installed, the factory audio system continues to operate normally, with CarPlay/Android Auto accessed through the vehicle’s existing interface behavior. Keep in mind that AUX becomes dedicated to this interface, and certain on-screen indicators may not appear while in CarPlay/Android Auto mode.
