Important note from EBC: do not fit upgrade pads to the rear unless the same upgrade is fitted to the front. The Thermic Black coating does not need to be removed before install; do not use brake cleaner or other methods to remove it. It will wear off in the pad-swept area within the first 10 to 20 stops. The coating is anti-corrosion for long resistance against rust, and removal attempts are not covered under EBC warranty.
