As a hard-wearing pad, bed-in times can be as long as 1000 miles. During this period, braking feel can change as the pad gradually conforms to the disc (brake rotor). Nominal friction coefficient is 0.5 with approximately 50% dust reduction, and testing has shown a 13-metre shorter stop than OEM pads from 100mph/160kph on applicable vehicles.
