Important notes from EBC: do not fit upgrade pads to the rear unless the same upgrade is fitted to the front. The Thermic Black coating does not need removal before installation, and brake cleaner or other methods should not be used to remove it. The coating wears off in the pad-swept area within the first 10 to 20 stops and provides anti-corrosion resistance against rust; attempts to remove it are not covered under EBC warranty.
