Important note from the manufacturer: do not fit upgrade pads to the rear unless the same upgrade is fitted to the front. Thermic Black coating does not need to be removed before install, and brake cleaner should not be used to remove it. The coating wears off in the pad-swept area within the first 10 to 20 stops and provides anti-corrosion resistance against rust.
