Note: Do not fit upgrade pads to the rear unless the same upgrade is fitted to the front. The Thermic Black coating does not need to be removed before install, and brake cleaner (or any other method) should not be used to remove it. The coating is removed in the pad-swept area within the first 10–20 stops and serves as an anti-corrosion coating; attempts to remove it are not covered under EBC warranty.
