Important note from the manufacturer: do not fit upgrade pads to the rear unless the same upgrade is fitted to the front. The Thermic Black coating does not need to be removed before installation; do not use brake cleaner to remove it. It will wear off in the pad-swept area within the first 10–20 stops and is intended for anti-corrosion resistance against rust; attempts to remove it are not covered under EBC warranty.
