Notes from the manufacturer: do not fit upgrade pads to the rear unless the same upgrade is fitted to the front. If Thermic Black coating is present on discs/rotors, it does not need to be removed before installation; it will be swept off in the pad contact area within the first 10 to 20 stops. The Thermic Black coating is an anti-corrosion coating for rust resistance, and attempts to remove it with brake cleaner are not covered under EBC warranty.
