Takamoto Katsuta, a notable Japanese rally driver currently competing in the World Rally Championship with Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT, first garnered attention with a standout victory in the WRC-2 class at the 2018 Rally Sweden. In 2021, he achieved his maiden World Rally Championship podium finish by clinching second place at the Safari Rally.
